Don´t miss the FREE Tuesday-Night Holistic Healing Workshop, February 13th at New York Holistic School (in mid-town Manhattan), led by Zakiyyah MaaKheper, Certified Herbalist Specialist, and one of the school’s NYS licensed Instructors.

Although “herbology” may not be an active term in your vocabulary, it is a reality in your life. The mustard on your table and many of the spices in your kitchen come from herbs. Most of the vegetables in your salad are herbs, and if you have a yard/garden, many of the plants growing there (whether by your or their own design) are also herbs. Herbs act very similar to our foods, in that they provide our body with nutrients and other components that enhance organ functions: as they feed, rejuvenate and regenerate our organs. They have specific energies, tastes and directions (rising energy: prickly ash bark; lowering energy: yarrow; contracting energy: cayenne, and disbursing energy: ginger) that affect a healing change.

Join us at New York Holistic School to learn all the idiosyncrasies of the healing power of herbs, so simple that you can change the definition of what’s in your ‘medicine cabinet’ with all natural herbs and spices.
